You will be based at Newcastle University Business School and will be involved in empirical finance research projects.
The work to be undertaken requires very good knowledge of empirical finance literature, especially in the area of asset pricing.
You should also have experience in conducting empirical research in finance using appropriate programming languages and / or software packages, and excellent writing and communication skills.
You should ideally have a PhD in a related area (essential for Research Associates), or have prior research experience and a Masters degree in the relevant area with a dissertation component.
As part of your application, you are required to upload an example of a written sample which contains quantitative analysis / results.
This position is full time and is fixed term for a period of 6 months.
