We are currently looking for Project Manager who is keen & enthusiastic looking for challenges in the field of Electrical Systems design in Wind Power at our office in Keele / Sheffield, United Kingdom.

You will manage the development new technologies by working with design engineers, chief engineers, and technology stakeholders to bring new ideas from conception into our future wind turbines.

You are dedicated to continuous improvement of the technology development process, as a part of the Project Management team.

You are proactive, work well within a small team of like-minded engineers and capable of presenting technical ideas and concepts to a wider audience.

You will lead technology development projects in the Electrical Systems domain : Manage development and implementation of technologies and or features for total solutions in close cooperation with team of engineers and stakeholders placed in an international working environment.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to

Manage the development of new technologies by working with design engineers, chief engineers, and technology stakeholders placed in an international working environment

Bring new ideas from conception into our future wind turbines

Dedicated to continuous improvement of the technology development process, as a part of the Project Management team

Should be proactive, work well within a small team of like-minded engineers

Capable of presenting technical ideas and concepts to a wider audience

Project execution in accordance with Siemens Gamesa Technology processes and tools

Coordination with other modules, prototype & component validation, supply-chain and as well with external suppliers and partners

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for

Relevant experience in a product engineering environment would be preferred

Hands on experience of project management experience in product development / research environment

Hands on experience and knowledge in electrical components would be an advantage

Experienced using project management tools JIRA (experience in similar tools is acceptable) and Project Management certification (for example IPMA B / C, PMP, Prince2 Foundation / Practitioner) will be added advantage

Excellent written and verbal communication in English and a valid driver’s license

Flexible to travel overseas would be an advantage
