The time critical specialist is responsible for processing shipments and all related activities from start to finish. The individual will have contact with clients, carriers and potential clients daily.
He / she must be proactive in providing quality client service and have the ability to handle pressure and responsibility in a fast pace environment, in a timely and affective manner.
Strong knowledge and background in time critical operations processes and requirements for LHR / UK. Consistently meet company KPI standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Knowledge of UK import / export operations and regulations
Knowledge of AOG and other Time Critical Services / Solutions
Prepare documentation & customs formalities to see job through start to finish.
KPI adherence - DNI / LNR / Cost accuracy / ROTP
Communicate with clients and overseas agents regarding disposition of freight (i.e. - Track & Trace, routine, dispatching and quotations)
Communicate with vendors / suppliers regarding rates, dispatch and updates.
Ensure compliance in line with company and industry policies
Other duties as assigned
OTHER SKILLS / ABILITIES
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web based and job specific software applications
Ability to work under pressure in fast paced department.
Willing to travel as required
Good communication skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge in AOG or Time critical Logistics Sector.
Minimum 2 Years' experience
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENCES
Educated to a high standard
Relevant industry certification to support the necessary skills required for the role
