The Sales Team ensures the brand integrity of the company is reflected to the customer.They will be responsible for supporting the goals of the company and individual store.
The Sales Team will be reporting into the Store Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver continuous performance feedback and training to motivate & develop store team to meet current and future position requirements
Foster a positive team environment by empowering members to participate and cooperate on store initiatives
Provide department insight related to the customer experience and communicates information to district team and corporate office
Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset to utilize all tools / support available within framework of business and develop creative approaches to drive topline results
Ensure all customer service standards are consistently executed and utilize company tools to better service the customer
Motivate and coach store team to achieve personal and store sales goals
Lead productive customer experience manager segments by facilitating an energized pace, positive service environment, and team development
Monitor sales floor and zone coverage to drive sales and maintain customer focus
Ensure store teams receive customer service & product knowledge training to strengthen selling skills
Demonstrate company customer service model & lead by example on the sales floor
Model and ensure dress code compliance
Achieve personal SPH goals
People & Development
To contribute to long term growth by minimizing turnover, recruiting high level candidates as needed, & maintaining and developing a store team of managers and service associates able to meet service and sales goals
Ensure management and service associates clearly understand and meet job expectations
Schedule and facilitates training sessions where needed to develop individual and overall team skills and abilities
Coach and mentor staff to achieve optimal results including succession planning for current and future positions.
Execute on-boarding and training of new hires as needed
Ensure operational integrity & asset protection compliance in day to day operations & practices
Ensure monitoring and execution of daily payroll goals
Communicates and partner with visual team for product moves based on sell through and markdowns
Strict compliance and adhering to the application of policies and procedure
Responsible for opening and closing the store on designated shifts
To achieve or exceed financial plans through effective planning and execution thereby contributing to the Company’s overall financial results
Entrepreneurial innovation to utilize all tools / support available and within framework of business to develop creative approaches to driving the business results
Monitors sales and financial results and takes appropriate action at store level and communicates needs to supervisor
Control store expenses through supply budgets and operational procedures
Visual Presentation / Store Maintenance
Ensure the Brand Integrity of the company is reflected to customer
Help ensure store meets merchandising and maintenance standards
Support store management in the planning and supervision of store flips
Provide necessary feedback to Store Management to drive the business through visual and merchandising opportunities
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
Experience needed in retail in a high volume or flagship location
Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment
Strong English communication - verbal and written / Multilingual is a plus
Excellent time management / project skills
Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands
Comfortable and confident in making effective autonomous (and group) decisions in a timely manner
Goal oriented : ability to stay focused on creating winning results
Dedicated to high levels of Customer Service and Sales Productivity
Physical Demands : Hours / days of work can be varied due to the demands of the businessMust be able to work shift standing and walking and able to lift approx 20 lbs.
Must be able to pack, unpack and move stock when supporting in receiving / stocking store functions.
