Accountabilities

As the product owner for offer management common services, you will be focusing on common services that relate to the shopping and order creation parts of our APIs.

As a product owner, you will be responsible for :

  • Leading and coordinating activities within your service / product engineering team
  • Creating and maintaining the product backlog
  • Planning and execution of the product strategy, practices and activities
  • Creating inspiring, strategic, and innovative ideas / products for rapid deployment and with a frugal mindset
  • Collaborating with other product owners to uphold business priority and vision
  • Ownership of discovery and expression of product vision and roadmap together with our customer success and design teams
  • You will be a spokesperson for your product, communicating major developments and milestones both internally and externally.
  • There is an expectation that you will undertake adhoc work on an exceptional basis or provide relevant cover for other team tasks

  • Skills / Capabilities

  • Understanding and demonstrable experience in agile ways of working
  • Understanding of at least one higher level programming language
  • Demonstrable experience & competencies at managing agile development
  • Commercial and technical mindset
  • Experience working with XML Editors such as Oxygen and XMLSpy
  • Understand XML data structures
  • Able to interpret and modify HTML and CSS code
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels and drive results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and making fact based decisions
  • Qualification / Experience

  • Have undergone training for product ownership and / or have demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • BSc in a technical / digital field or demonstrable equivalent technical experience
  • Familiarity with the airline travel industry
