Wootzano is looking for a motivated junior scientist to work on developing a novel electronic skin our company has been commercialising.
The electronic skin has already gained immense momentum by various companies and has been focussed towards the robotic end effector market.
The role will be supported for the first 12 months by Teesside University who will provide mentoring support from experienced academics in the field.
The candidate will be working within the cleanrooms and various R&D labs to formulate devise experiments. These experiments range from synthesis of nanostructures to increasing the stretchability of our sensors by over 200%.
The candidate will also get an opportunity to work within sample production facilities and will be part of the ambitious scaling up process during the manufacturing of our novel electronic skin.
The role is full time working mainly at the Sedgefield location at the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) but may occasionally be asked to travel to clients on-
site address or Wootzano’s main office in Edinburgh, Scotland (reasonable travel subsistence costs will be paid for by Wootzano).
