Job Description

Based within our London office we are currently looking to recruit a Presentation Coordinator to join our Programming Department.

The main purpose of this role is to work alongside our Junior Presentation Manager to help build, complete and deliver accurate transmission schedules across Cartoon Network, Boomerang and TCM Cinema in the Middle East, North Africa, Greece and Cyprus.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for TV as well as knowledge of kids’ channels. As well as previous media scheduling experience, a can-

do attitude and have the ability to work to tight deadlines with a fluster free demeaner.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Create accurate daily transmission schedules, using a broadcast scheduling system to insert secondary events (promotions, sponsorship, graphics) and download commercial files into the TX schedule, timing out with forensic attention to detail.
  • Fine tune the TX schedule according to promo strategy documents and programming grids.
  • Balance promotional campaigns according to media planning guidance.
  • Enter monthly makelist into planning systems.
  • Communicate effectively across playout, ad sales, programming, creative and marketing & digital teams.
  • Keep team documents up to date.
  • Co-ordinate delivery of promo material, following up on delayed deliveries and necessary amendments.
  • Assist ad sales team with sponsorship media plans, materials and placement.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests such as organizing screeners, compilations, pulling lists together and running reports from the scheduling systems.
  • System testing.
  • Cover Presentation roles during annual leave or sickness.
  • Have the ability to work to daily deadlines under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
  • Attend team meetings.
  • What we’re looking for :

    Attitude : Team player who is motivated, with a can-do attitude.

    Attributes : Organised. Enjoys attention to detail and is thorough when completing tasks even when under pressure. Solid communication skills.

    Technical Skills : IT literate and quick to pick up new systems and processes.

    Experience : Minimum of 1 year using scheduling systems is essential - within Vision or What’s On would be advantageous.

    Language : Basic Arabic or Greek is desirable but not essential.
