The Opportunity : There is an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre Senior Associate to join the EMEIA Tax team for a permanent position as Markets Enablement Executive.
The team is responsible for a number of strategic workstreams set up to deliver competitive growth for the Tax Service Line as a whole and drive client service excellence across our Sub-
Service Lines (SSL) and geographies in the accounts we serve and target. The individual will be supporting the drive for strategic planning and implementation of our go-
to-market approach in Tax working with the EMEIA Tax BD network and all our regional, sector and sub-service line networks.
Therefore the ability to build relationships is key to the success of the role and building an internal network across other Area functions such as EMEIA Markets / Accounts and Business Development, Service Line Markets / Operations counterparts in Advisory, Assurance and Transaction Advisory Services;
and Global Tax counterparts in Markets, BD, Talent and other functions. There will be some ownership of projects and initiatives so the ideal candidate will have experience of aligning with key business priorities and working with colleagues to drive success.
Your Key Responsibilities : Your main responsibilities in the role will include, but are not limited to, the following :
Support the EMEIA Tax Markets Enablement Leader in driving the Vision 2020+ markets strategy and agenda for EMEIA Tax through :
High growth tax solutions with a focus on accelerating growth in key areas of the business
Integrated solutions with a focus on sector specific and account centric solutions
Top accounts Active monitoring of revenues and pipeline across the largest accounts
Regional support identifying trends on sales and pipeline and supporting in initiatives for growth with the regional BD leaders.
As well as driving owned initiatives such as usage of client-facing tools.
EMEIA Tax priorities Supporting the EMEIA Tax Markets Enablement Leader and EMEIA Tax BD Leader in delivering Markets-centric priorities
Identifying and quantifying success of cross service line, and sub-service line teaming on top accounts and solutions
Support the EMEIA Tax BD Leader and Markets Leader with meeting preparation for leadership and mid-year / year-end regional assessments
Have a solid understanding of the EMEIA Tax pipeline performance and relevant metrics
Working with the offshore Global Delivery Services (GDS) team to support sales and pipeline data quality
Working with BMC (Marketing and Communications) to support the execution of campaigns and events
Supporting the organization and management of internal meetings, webcasts and calls as well as other ad-hoc or strategic projects for Markets function as they arise

To Qualify for the Role you must have :
Minimum two years’ experience in a client driven professional environment in a business development or market facing position.
Previous experience in monitoring pipeline
Time and project management skills able to plan and manage time effectively and flexibly to deal with key priorities
Strong IT skills Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and SharePoint
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Highly organised with a sound attention to detail and an ability to deliver to deadlines
Ideally you’ll also have :
Knowledge of the Tax service line or experience in business development
Preferred background within EY, Big 4, multi-facetted financial services or professional services organisation
Education : Bachelor or Masters degree or equivalent recommended
An innovative, confident and creative manner with ability to make decisions
