Reporting directly to the Service Manager the role will focus heavily on attending customer sites to conduct both preventive and reactive maintenance .
Other responsibilities will include; Understanding and working from Engineering drawings, pursuing continuous improvements in assembly methods and provide recommendations for their implementation.
Please note that you may be required, at short notice, to travel throughout the UK on breakdowns.
The ideal candidate will come from a Field Service or Maintenance background. Ideally apprentice-trained or with engineering qualifications, you will possess a solid understanding of mechanical , electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and have excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
You will have experience in a customer facing position so you will need excellent communication skills and an ability to discuss technical matters with customers in a clear and personable manner
