As a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst you will be responsible for providing QA governance and support for a portfolio of projects, enhancements, and support initiatives.

The role involves manual testing, planning, and working closely with the team of Developers and other QAs to ensure the product is meeting all quality standards.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Working within an agile and / or waterfall environment to identify any issues with product / testing requirements.
  • Assisting with preparation of all prescribed quality assurance artefacts including, but not limited to, Master Test Strategy and Plan, Functional Test Plan, etc.
  • Preparing and participating in Manual Testing as required.
  • Conduct quality assurance defect tracking reports.
  • Participating and / or reviewing documentation and test results in all quality assurance test phases, such as requirements validation, unit, integration, functional, and regression testing.
  • Developing the Test Cases according to the Master Test Plan.
  • Performing quality assurance testing and report issues as required.
  • Walking through test cases and the test plan.
  • WHO YOU ARE

  • Manual testing experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent knowledge with software quality tools.
  • Experience in developing test plans, writing test scripts, developing use cases, implementing manual testing, supervising test team activities, and assisting business users through User Acceptance Test processes.
  • Knowledge of the quality assurance discipline, the defect life cycle management processes, and the software commonly used for test planning and defect tracking
  • Bug-tracking systems, like Jira, Bugzilla, etc.
  • Experienced in languages, like HTML, PHP, Java, etc.
  • Well versed in Windows, Apple Macintosh, Mobile, etc.
  • Formal software testing training or certification.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects assigned with minimal supervision.
  • Highly collaborative and dynamic.
  • Results-oriented with creative problem-solving skills.
  • Client centric and responsive with clear, concise, and articulated communication.
  • Interested in business travel.
