JOB PURPOSE

  • Own and manage the end to end delivery and administration of the UK and EMEA payrolls.
  • Effectively manage a team of administrators and advisors and contribute to building a successful Global Payroll team
  • Drive a customer focused culture by providing an excellent service to all internal customers with a specific emphasis on employees.
  • Enable the ongoing identification of operational and regulatory risks.
  • Support the delivery of the HR Transformation project by planning SMEs’ involvement while securing BAU operation
  • Manage the delivery and the operational relationship with the relevant payroll providers or ICPs
  • Review, manage and escalate day to day operational issues as required
  • Deliver successfully the AskHR case management support for the sub-region
  • RESPONSIBILITIES

    Operational Efficiency

  • Manage the day to day running of the UK and EMEA payrolls, ensuring payroll schedules and deadlines are met
  • Monitory KPIs, support & guide the team to ensure accurate reports and payments are produced on time
  • Review and approve UK and EMEA payrolls
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory and tax authorities
  • Team Management

  • Manage a team of 5 to ensure individual and team effectiveness
  • Ensure work is distributed appropriately between team members and enable for continuous on the job learning
  • Support and guide team member in their personal development plans
  • Escalation and resolution point for team members with regards to process related queries
  • Process Improvements

  • Improve the service delivery through continuous process improvements
  • Share best practices and drive constituency with an aim to improve operational efficiency and improve accuracy in pay
  • Work closely with the Payroll team members and process owners to understand root causes
  • Provide an enhanced service experience through continuous review
  • PERSONAL PROFILE

    Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified payroll professional preferably at chartered standards
  • Significant experience in payroll process expertise
  • Experience working with third party vendors and various payroll systems
  • Understanding of payroll end to end processes
  • Shared services experience
  • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French or German would be beneficial but not essential
  • Skills
