About the role
We have an ambitious vision for our Centre of Learning, or COL as we affectionately call it - making learning accessible, at the right time and in the right way for every individual at Farmlands.

These fixed term roles will focus on the creation of online courses and resources for our key knowledge areas of product and technical, safety and compliance, systems and technology, induction and sales campaigns.
Other work in the pipeline includes our Energy and Sustainability learning programmes and content for other areas of our business as learning needs arise.
Working closely with the rest of our L&D team you will define learning objectives and work with subject matter experts to create engaging and interactive online content to increase learning uptake and outcomes across all areas of our business.
Skills & experience
We're a busy team and work with a broad range of subject matter so your ability to think clearly, be well organised and work methodically will be highly valued!
We are looking for a creative minded individuals who can hit the ground running and have experience designing online content and blended learning solutions using Articulate Rise, Storyline (or similar software tools).
Farmlands is a complex organisation and some of our learning content can be highly technical, so your ability to translate technical information and appeal to a wide-ranging audience is key.
We are open to applications from individuals with varying levels of experience, so whether you're highly experienced or are early on in your career as a Learning Content Developer, we are equally keen to hear from you.
Not based in Christchurch? While we'd prefer you here, we are open to considering candidates from around NZ. The same goes for the contract length - if you are feeling like 12 months is too long then we are happy to discuss a shorter contract term should you prefer.
