My client are an established Lloyd's syndicate, currently enjoying a period of sustained growth, which has led to increased responsibility within the finance function.
Reporting directly to UK Finance Manager, the purpose of the role will be to assist the Finance Manager in all aspects of the development of the finance function, with particular focus on financial reporting and management accounts, as the business continues its rapid growth.
Key focuses of the role are to prepare the monthly management accounts and quarterly board papers, UK GAAP / IFRS and also to enhance rocesses and controls around financial reporting.
In addition, understanding of Lloyds accounting is critical.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / ACMA), must have current exposure to the insurance industry, ideally the Lloyd's market.
