Teaching Personnel are working with a Spalding based secondary school that is looking to recruit prospective future teachers who can fulfil the role of a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to start with them for the remainder of the academic year.
The successfully appointed future teacher(s) would start with the school as soon as possible but ideally no later than the Monday 28
October (following the half term).
As the new cohort of year 7s start at school, the successful Learning Support Assistants will be supporting students in year 7 as well as across the age range gaining further experience and skills to equip them for a future career as a teacher.
This school has a direct link with an Initial Teacher Training Programme where the successful LSAs could progress onto their SCITT (School Centred teacher training) following a year supporting within the school.

Graduates who have experience of supporting students are highly encouraged to apply now. This role will include supporting a variety of students aged between 11 and 16 in the main.
Working with older students, you will be focussed on GCSE preparation and provide intervention at set times.
