The Careers Service at Manchester Metropolitan University is recruiting a Careers Adviser on a permanent basis.
You will enhance the career development of students at all stages of study, delivering careers provision in a variety of formats including events, curriculum based delivery and 1 : 1 guidance, including the design and delivery of innovative employability and enterprise provision.
You will collaborate with a range of academic departments to meet the employability needs of their students through event delivery.
You need to be an effective networker to build links with employers and capable of organising a series of high profile events.
You will develop digital resources to support e-learning such as programme development, online tutorials and sessions, webinars, short films, careers blogs etc.
to help engage and meet the needs of a large and diverse student body.
You will promote students and graduates to employers and help identify appropriate opportunities such as graduate entry career roles, work experience and projects to support the career development and progression of our students.
This is a role requiring organisational skills and the ability to plan and deliver services within a team based structure.
You need to be proactive and enthusiastic, ensuring that your support and advice is tailored to deliver successful career outcomes for our students and graduates.
