CLEANER??PERM??IPSWICH??NATIONAL MINIMUM WAGE??. Tennial Personnel are working on behalf of a bespoke client based in Ipswich who are looking for a commercial cleaner to join there welcoming team.
You will undertake cleaning duties for all floors of the commercial premise. You will be a designated key holder responsible for unlocking / locking the premises and ensuring fully secure on a daily basis.
Duties will include but are not limited to cleaning toilets, floors, kitchenettes, carpets, showers, office floors and furniture.
You will be courteous to colleagues and clients and provide a welcoming environment to staff and visitors at all times. You will have experience in commercial cleaning.
Reports to the Senior Business Assistant. Accountabilities. 1. Responsibilities and Duties.
Designated key holder responsible for opening and closing the premises on set days / times and ensuring building is fully secure.
Empty waste bins, transporting waste to designated collection points.
Clean & disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, urinals, hand basins, showers mirrors, tables, chairs, fridges, microwave / drinking facilities.
Suction clean carpets and spot cleaning carpets.
Dust, damp wipe, wash and polish furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, walls, doors, shelves.
Sweep, mop & vacuum and hand scrub floors using brooms, mops and vacuum cleaners.
Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) etc.
Handle special requirements for staff as appropriate.
Comply with all policies and procedures relating to the performance of tasks.
Use only approved products supplied by us and ensure these are fully stocked.
Deep clean break out area and kitchenette, thoroughly cleaning surface and cooking equipment.
Carry out any other reasonable duties within the overall function of the role.
Report potential safety or maintenance issues to line manager.
Cover maintenance assistant duties including key holder responsibilities during absence.
Awareness of Health & Safety Issues such as COSHH Sheets. Measures of Success. - Effectiveness of cleanliness within office.
Cleaning programme followed accurately and to agreed timescales. -Feedback from colleagues and Line Manager. - Timely completion of tasks.
