We're looking for a Head of Employee Experience to join the RELX Talent Development centre of excellence as a subject matter expert in Performance and Career Management as well as employee engagement strategies to help drive the future strategy of RELX.
Our Employee Experience Network is the custodian of programs and initiatives in the areas of performance, career management and employee engagement and is responsible for their deployment and delivery across RELX.
You'll act a thought partner to the RELX Head of Talent Development and to Business Unit Talent Managers ensuring the performance, career and employee engagement strategy aligns with the business priorities and focus areas.
You'll identify gaps in current enterprise and business unit practices and develop high impact programs and interventions, whilst adopting an employee-centric approach when addressing key moments that matter to employees through the Talent Development lifecycle vs taking a process perspective.
Key Accountabilities :
Partner closely with key stakeholders across the HR function and CoE’s to diagnose strengths and opportunities across the talent management lifecycle impacting employee experience
Define the moments that matter from an employee standpoint and work in strong partnership and collaboration across the TD, TA and TR CoE’s to bring this to life
Develop employee experience strategy, action plan and roadmap securing buy-in from all key stakeholder groups with associated measurement strategy
Drive growth mindset and shift in how employees think about their growth and development recognising that there are differences across cultures, generations and other segments.
Develop and implement RELX career paths for all job families and embed Enabling Performance into employee lifecycle
Further design and expand mentoring and coaching capability for managers across RELX
Harmonise EOS / Culture Beat Surveys and resulting action plans and initiatives
Implement enterprise programs and initiatives with full ownership and accountability and manage all relevant budget and third party spend
Own the continuous improvement of performance management across the organisation with a high emphasis on performance coaching and high-quality feedback conversations
Partner with each business area to ensure the approach to performance, career and employee engagement is aligned with business priorities
Own the technology and process roadmap for performance, career and employee engagement
Ensure RELX has a robust and consistent process for performance, career management and employee engagement that is standardised across RELX
Develop a learning roadmap that aligns to our career development philosophy and practices
Own the career architecture for RELX, partnering closely with Reward to ensure alignment to the job architecture
Ensure best in class approach to defining, measuring and assessing employee experience and follow up action planning
Collaborate with Employer Brand to creatively and genuinely enhance RELX as an employer of choice, as well as supporting effective and efficient integration of new hires through a structured orientation program
Experience & Qualifications :
Significant experience within professional services or enterprise COE model implementing a global employee experience / Human Capital strategy demonstrating positive impact
Strong influencing skills at all levels and ability to build effective relationships, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
Deep expertise in end-to-end management of projects and programs
Analytical, systems and design thinking with an ability to measure impact of talent programmes across the business
Demonstrated experience in HR business partnering, talent acquisition and talent development, delivering people strategies and implementing action plans
Knowledge of people development, recruitment and employee relations as well as current advances in people and culture change
