What's involved, top line

The Streaming and Redirection product supports the streaming and re-direction of patients arriving at Emergency Departments (EDs).

The aim of the tool is to ease the burden on hospital resources and support patients to access timely care by identifying those who need to be in ED and those with lower acuity illnesses or injuries, redirecting them to more appropriate clinical settings outside of the ED.

The Senior Delivery Support Officer (SDSO) will provide a comprehensive support service to the delivery of Streaming and Redirection.

This support will include managing files and share points, co-ordinating meetings and preparing reports.

    About the role

  • Take a key role in identifying internal and external stakeholders, building relationships to assist project communication and reporting.
  • Keep project managers and stakeholders aware of project / programme status by, for example, preparing reports, presenting statistics and researching new information
  • Co-ordinate meetings and stakeholder consultation events, preparing agendas and supporting papers, and taking detailed minutes on complex issues
  • Be responsible for project or programme file management, using robust version control and management techniques
  • Work with project managers to create, monitor and maintain project project / programme plans
  • Some of the skills and experience we're looking for :

  • Detailed understanding of how to coordinate formal project boards and meetings, including venue organisation, compilation of agendas and supporting documents, production of minutes and follow up actions / tasks
  • Information Governance : Ability to design, maintain and implement techniques for the organisation, storage and version control of information in electronic formats for complex projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of proactively engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, using appropriate communication techniques, to understand their needs and deal with enquiries, requests, complaints to ensure resolution
  • Experience of working in a project environment and ability to perform non-routine project tasks such as : able to identify risks and judging if escalation is appropriate
