You’ll support people with learning disabilities and autism at home and in the community to live life more freely. You don’t necessarily need experience as we provide full training.
In Andover we support three men and a lady who share a home together; and whom require 24-hour support. We also support another three men and a lady who share a lovely home, as well as a mature gentleman.
This could be a full or part-time contract depending on avaliblity.
About the role
You’ll support people to access their community to do the things they enjoy. One gentlemen, for example, enjoys visiting churches and castles, photography and eating out.
Other individuals enjoy a wide range of activities; from car rides and train journeys, to eating out, going to the cinema and shows, and working on a farm.
You’ll also support people with everyday living, for example cooking, cleaning their homes and managing finances. You’ll support individuals with their personal care and medication needs.

If you’re new to social care, we will support you gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate. If you have experience as a care assistant or care worker in a care home, you’ll discover we provide plenty of on-

You’ll need good communication skills and a positive, patient approach. Respectful of people’s differences, you can build professional relationships and have a flexible approach.
You can work 24 / 7 shifts including weekends and evenings / nights. A full driving licence is essential for some roles.
