Sanderson are recruiting for a Technical Project Manager to join a Highly Prestigious Sports Associations in South West London, to run multiple projects that implement, integrate, develop and enhance their IT Systems.

You will be liaising and co-ordinating with 3rd parties, suppliers and other areas of the Association to co-ordinate timelines for successful delivery of multiple projects.

This position will suit those who have a technical background and experience of managing multiple projects who possess excellent communication skills dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

Main Duties :

  • Manage new system delivery (bespoke or packaged) and enhancements to existing systems in accordance with the defined requirements and agreed expectations
  • Ensure correct identification of Projects , planned and resourced, managing project teams
  • Continually monitor multiple projects as finite discrete pieces of work; measure risk, timeframes and budgets
  • Cross Team Working with the Operations team, the Service Delivery team and Systems Development team to ensure all aspects of the project are coordinated
  • Implementation of new releases and agreed changes into the live environment adhering with the Change Management process, and providing subject matter expertise for review and approval of changes as appropriate
  • Schedule application testing , user acceptance testing, and training before arranging deployment to the business
  • Act as a business liaison : manage customer expectations regarding deliverables and dates, ensure they are clearly defined, realistic, agreed and committed to by all parties

  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills , including the ability to listen and to express themselves in a succinct, articulate manner
  • Proven ability to write project plans ; breaking down technical specifications into phases
  • Ability to professionally and assertively manage challenges with the team and stakeholders
  • Multiple practical examples of strong process driven project management skills and assisting the business to embrace change , backed by industry standard certification
  • Experience managing projects using Agile, waterfall and hybrid methodologies , and the ability to utilise the most suitable methodology
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to multi-task and control own workload and time whilst managing concurrent projects over the full software development lifecycle
  • Experience of projects which integrate with other systems (API’s)
  • Skilled in the use of the MS Office suite and MS Project
