Job Description Vivace Supply Chain Lead (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

The role will be supporting, developing & executing Procurement associated requirements of a core Managed Service ( Vivace ) on behalf of a prestigious Government client in delivery of bleeding-
edge Cyber Security solutions within a collaborative working environment. The role requires fast, effective delivery of supplier based solutions;
delivered using Agile Sprint methods.
This role is positioned within the CIT (Cyber, Information & Training) Procurement team and co-located with the programme team in Vauxhall, London.
The primary requirement of the role provides Procurement & Supply Chain leadership and execution in support of a Government funded Managed Service within the Cyber & Information domain.
The role requires close collaboration with team members, suppliers and customers.
Key accountabilities include :
Embedded within a newly formed, Agile by design, technology start-up to provide end to end Supply Chain advice, process development, sourcing, supply assurance, SRM, proposal issue / evaluation, contract negotiation and tasking against requirements;
Support the collaborative team to provide Agile-delivered supplier solutions to cater for a wide range of Cyber and Information related requirements that will cut across information-sensitive security domains.
Key Capabilities / Knowledge
Relevant knowledge & experience of procuring IT (Infrastructure, Software & Services), Managed Services, Cyber Security (technologies & techniques) (Essential)
Experience of contract negotiation (Essential)
Experience of negotiating Intellectual Property clauses across novel business requirements (Essential)
Experience of risk identification, mitigation & management (Essential)
Delivery of outcomes through Agile processes (Desirable)
Able to develop, understand & challenge IT based requirements & solutions (Essential)
Confident in communicating around IT language (Essential)
Problem solving ability, detail oriented and ability prioritise tasks (Essential).
Entrepreneurial in nature, seeks to move decisively and quickly
Able to work within a Technology start-up environment whilst also maintaining a link with Corporate Procurement
Delivery and achievement focused, managing priorities whilst working at pace

Proven contract negotiation skills in both a strategic relationship and sourcing environment
Experienced in the delivery of Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain Management
Knowledge and understanding of procurement systems and infrastructure
Experience & Qualifications
Educational Qualifications :
Business, IT, Finance, Supply Chain Management or Engineering; higher-level education or degree qualification preferred
Professional Qualifications :
MCIPS or equivalent professional qualification preferred
Working Experience :
Experience of working within an Agile methodology
Procurement experience in a project management environment
Procurement experience of IT based solutions
Security Clearance to be approved, held and maintained at level appropriate for this role (SC Level)
