Business Development Managers

We’re looking for well connected, highly ambitious business developers within the eCommerce / Commerce Cloud industry to help us take our award winning proprietary technology platform to market.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be an integral part of one of the most demanding and high-profile divisions within The Hut Group at a time of significant investment and global scaling.

Our platform has been the engine powering THG's brands. The proprietary platform has continually been redefined to stay ahead of the market trends and changes, couple this with the acquisition of a global hosting business, we are consulting clients on offering faster, smarter digital innovation for growth.

There are three services from bespoke eCommerce to managed and mass web hosting building an unparalleled, unique and ingenious offer.

We are looking for outstanding high flyers who are eCommerce / Commerce Cloud pioneers with the skill set and drive to make an immediate impact on our business.

We’ll be looking for demonstrable evidence of high achievement in addition to the characteristics that mark you out as being a high performer within THG.

About The Opportunity :

  • The BDM will have the primary responsibility of attracting new clients to THG.
  • Ownership and management of your sales activity and pipeline.
  • Generate qualified sales leads from new outbound efforts, potential partners, or personal contacts
  • Develop initiatives to increase new deal lead flow and ways to position THG within defined target segments and customers
  • Conduct demos and webinars of THG Ingenuity on a frequent basis utilizing video conferencing
  • Manage your business and pipeline effectively to accommodate a monthly revenue sales quota
  • Adjust to industry trends in order to identify areas of opportunity to increase new revenue for THG
  • Primary focus identifying and winning new business with secondary focus on current customer growth
  • Deliver best in class customer experience partnering closely with the Client Service teams to brief and build engaging relationships through the on-boarding process.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related field sales experience in high tech industry
  • 3+ years of experience in outside, field, or acquisition sales
