Overview :

You’ll be joining the Alternatives and Real Asset European portfolio management team who are responsible for the portfolio management of DWS funds / products in Europe.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Overseeing the acquisition and disposal processes of real estate assets, ranging from core to value add opportunities for the respective funds
  • Reviewing models and expected financial performance of portfolio assets
  • Reviewing the due diligence process of the acquisitions and disposals
  • Working closely with the European acquisition officers and asset managers, during the acquisition process and implementation of the business plans
  • Assisting in the preparation of the required analysis and documentation that is required for the approval process within DWS
  • Supporting the team in presenting the investment / disposal opportunities before the relevant boards / investment committees
  • Assisting the team with negotiating joint venture agreements and working closely in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, creating successful joint ventures
  • Preparing and presenting reporting materials to the respective clients
  • Working with the finance function to ensure financings, regulatory and tax compliance of DWS funds / products
  • Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience in the real estate industry, fulfilling similar roles to the ones detailed above
  • Strong modelling and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Eagerness to learn and develop, using both formal and on the job training
  • Confident in addressing Real Estate, legal, tax, accounting and financial issues
  • Experience of working with internal and external stakeholders / advisors
  • Ability to address new situations and take on new challenges
