The rapid growth requires flexible, global, high performance, and scalable Quote to Cash (QTC) architecture. Equinix IT is in the process of architecting the next generation QTC architecture that can support Equinix’s sustained growth.
The Equinix Global IT organisation is a global function, centred in Sunnyvale CA with substantial presence in APAC and EMEA.
To support the tremendous growth, an opportunity has risen for an experienced Senior Manager to join our dynamic team in EMEA based out of our plush new offices in Devonshire Square.
As the Senior Manager, you will be accountable for partnering with the regional Product Marketing team and multi-functional business team on their data needs.
Provide technical expertise and support a fast- moving digital world.
We are on the hunt for our next Senior Manager - Requires in depth knowledge of enterprise applications with a specific focus on CRM (Siebel / SFDC) and Service Management (ServiceNow) and a detailed understanding of the underpinned business processes such as : Product Catalogue, Product Pricing, Quoting and Order Management, Product Billing, Service Management.
With demonstrable experience in automating existing and new business capabilities via Robotic Process Automation / Artificial Intelligence, and previous expertise of implementing large scale transformation programmes working with Agile delivery teams.
You will be of high energy, responsive, analytical and an experienced leader with strong communication, interpersonal, project management and people management skills.
Ensuring that IT is seen as an effective partner and enabler
Responsible for driving and influencing senior leadership decision making
Is able to effectively identify appropriate stakeholders
Builds and maintains effective working relationships and partnerships with stakeholders
Works with all stakeholders to set and manage realistic expectations of services, reflected in service definition, scope and formal agreements
Responsible for leading strategic planning, influencing and driving prioritization of initiatives with functional stakeholders
Participates in monthly operational reviews of operational performance and roadmap status
Executes against operational KPIs
Reviews, identifies areas for improvement and makes recommendations to leadership
Resource and Budget Management
Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plans that are agreed upon by upper management
Works closely across IT and Project Managers to track resource allocation and utilisation for portfolio and larger projects
Provides input to the annual budget planning process relating to project / support / SW maintenance / Renewals / purchases / etc.

Project / Program Management
Responsible for reviewing and approving project plans, provided by Project Managers and technology professionals
Responsible for ensuring projects deliver on time and budget by holding contributors accountable for delivering on project milestones and deliverables
Responsible for escalating issues and potential roadblocks to management, including making recommendations to address and resolve
Expected to resolve most issues to closure
Responsible for identifying and mitigating project execution risks
Guide and / or revise project plan to ensure it completely captures all activities and eliminates duplicative efforts
Streamlines resources and activities and identifies opportunities to automate tasks
R&D / Innovation
Drives innovation among the teams, recognises innovation, and helps communicate new ideas across teams
Process / Policies / Standards
Defines and evangelise processes, policies and standards across all stakeholders
Measures performance against process goals
Actively seeks continuous improvement opportunities in process / policies standards
Provides leadership and direction to the team, through managers
Is accountable for the performance and results of direct reports and maybe a larger or multiple teams
Responsible for succession planning
Responsible for performance management of team members, including disciplinary actions and hire / fire decisions / recommendations
Models the Equinix Culture and Values
Manages / leads individual consultants or consulting teams, as assigned
Understands vendor roadmaps, manages relationships, feedback and escalations, negotiations and contract renewals
Reviews and proposes final vendor selections
Handles day-to-day vendor relationships and holds vendors accountable to their deliverables
Relevant academic experience or qualified by experience
Previous experience delivering or implementing Siebel Product Catalogue, Configurator and Pricing is essential
Exposure to Salesforce CPQ / Steelbrick is desirable
Advanced knowledge of ServiceNow is desirable
Understanding or previous exposure with Data Migration strategies and methodologies
ITIL qualification desirable
Experience with Scrum / Agile development methodology with diversity to work within other SDLC methodologies
Travel is required across EMEA & internationally
