A fast growing construction business is seeking a SHEQ Advisor to join them due to substantial organic growth on a full time basis for a site based position.
As the SHEQ Advisor you will be based in London and the South of England managing health, safety, environmental and quality on site.
The SHEQ Advisor will be NEBOSH qualified and hold experience working within the construction sector.
SHEQ Advisor Responsibilities :
Responsible for frontline SHEQ advice at all sites
Monitor for effectiveness and assist in implementation of HSE Management System Incident investigation and analysis.
Help manage critical suppliers audits and internal processes to minimise risk
Prepare and issue site Corporate Reports
Auditing of business operations against subscribed standards and procedures and producing detailed reports
Review non-conformance trends and update audit schedules where trends identify shortcomings
Carry out H&S Inductions
Attend meetings with sub-contractors
SHEQ Advisor Experience & Qualifications Requirements
Strong Health & Safety experience within the construction / demolition / civil engineering sector
NEBOSH National General Certificate
Membership of IOSH (Grad or Chartered)
Excellent communication skills
Experience working a site based autonomous role
Knowledge of ISO9001, 14001, OHSAS18001 and sector accreditation schemes
Full driving licence

Package : £35K - £40k + Company Car, Fuel Card, Pension, 25 days holiday
Hours : Mon-Fri

Location : North London, London, Berkshire, Bedfordshire - This role does require significant travel
