We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Support Worker About this home Arcadian Gardens is a supported living service supporting adults aged 18-30 with learning disabilities and / or mental health needs, autism spectrum conditions and behaviours that may challenge.
Our main priority, therefore, is to find staff with values, behaviours and attitudes to match our own. Could this be you?
You will also be required to participate in the on call ; You will write daily reports on activities, as well as devising and updating care plans and undertaking risk assessments for the people we support.
You may also be required to undertake sleep-in shifts on a rota basis. The Ideal Candidate We expect our Senior Support Workers to share our vision to ensure that every moment has potential’ for the people we support to learn new skills and to achieve their goals.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills as well as good English are a must, as well as computer (Word / Excel) skills and some knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
An NVQ / Diploma L2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is also required, and significant experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
Above all you need to be kind, caring and ready to work as a team to ensure that our services are comfortable, happy, fulfilling and safe places to live.
