About The Role

Community Integrated Care is currently seeking experienced caring and committed people to support a gentleman with life-changing injuries live his life to the full.

With a positive and fun nature, you’ll provide a highly individualised service, respecting the needs and wishes of this gentleman in his own home.

Putting the preferences of this gentleman at the heart of everything you do, you will support him to become more independent.

You will be comfortable supporting this gentleman with all aspects of daily living, including intimate care tasks, tracheostomy care and moving and positioning.

You will also provide social and emotional support, help with daily living tasks, and promote and support his independence so that he can become more active and reach his goals and aspirations.

Do you already have previous Support Worker experience and looking to progress? About You An upbeat and positive manner is essential as is having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.

You will bring creative ideas to encourage the gentleman to live as independently as possible. A driving licence is preferable Previous experience is not essential as we provide a comprehensive induction training programme.

Our ideal Support Worker will be :

  • Self-motivated with energy and drive
  • Reliable, friendly and caring to support the people we support to achieve their everyday goals (including personal care)
  • Able to support in house activities and hobbies
  • Confident and inspire the person we support to achieve more
  • Able to help manage some behaviours that may challenge the norm we provide training and guidance to enable you to do this
  • Comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area
  • It is also important that you share our company values which are at the heart of everything we do and ensure that we deliver high quality, consistent care and support.

    As part of the selection process you will have an opportunity to meet the people you will be supporting in their home environment.

    This will allow you to see first-hand their wonderful personalities and fully understand the level of care and support that is required.
