Role Responsibility

  • Responsible for managing the annual business cycle, ensuring links between strategy, budgeting, supply partnerships and sales strategy / opportunities (including quarterly performance reviews within year).
  • Responsible for effective collaboration between content Partnerships and sales teams, e.g. communication of sales forecasting, title performance reviews, investment plans / pipeline, specific investment proposals.
  • Responsible for managing investment and cash budgets (monthly, quarterly and annual basis).
  • Work with genre teams to identify future investments, strategies, identifying issues with timings and cash commitments.
  • As well as tracking key metrics (e.g. supply base mix).

  • Advise genre teams, genre and portfolio management groups and wider BBCSD team (Content Investment Group / IP Investment Committee e.
  • g.) of investment performance, ROI tracking, portfolio performance.

  • Proactively identify and escalate key issues that will affect delivery of genre and / or portfolio investment plans.
  • Prepare investment proposals for board approval.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of range of funding models to support investment and portfolio analysis to support scenario planning for future business.
  • Responsible for creation of annual Post Investment Review (PIR) and more frequent individual title PIRs on larger investments.
