Description : Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership Head of Strategic Planning and Health Improvement Renfrewshire House, Paisley Renfrewshire Council Grade : £73,529.

25- £80,391.25 per annum (35 hours) NHS Pay Grade AFC Band 8C : £63,570 - £74,710 per annum (37.5 hours) As part of the shared commitment between NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and Renfrewshire Council, the Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) has been established to provide joint and integrated health and social care services to our local population.

The partnership has over 2000 staff providing local primary care, community health and social care services to our population of over 174,000 people to ensure highly effective services that contribute to improving health, care and well-

being and to narrow the inequalities gap across Renfrewshire.

This senior management role requires an outstanding and experienced leader who is seeking a career defining opportunity.

Candidates will be powerful advocates for system planning, collaboration, inclusion and partnership working and will be both resilient and empowering with a clear sense of purpose.

You will have relevant senior leadership experience and be able to evidence a track record of success in a similar environment particularly in the development and implementation of cross sector (health and social care and other partner services) and cross system (NHS GG&C) strategic plans.

You will be able to work within and through complex systems and process in a large multi organisation setting and provide leadership for transformational change providing visible support and programme management to a wide programme of change within the organisation in line with the objectives of our Strategic Plan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the lives of people in Renfrewshire continue to be improved through building on the effective outcomes delivered by HSCP.

You will do this by leading on all aspects of strategic planning, capacity, quality, commissioning and performance of the services delegated to the Renfrewshire Integration Joint Board (IJB) as well as working with acute health services and other agencies / sectors to plan the future development of delegated functions.

To lead the development of service specification informed by joint strategic needs assessment to ensure care pathways are appropriate, modernised, represent value for money and are in the best interests of patients, service users and carers.

You will have the skills to make the vision for integrated health and social care into a reality. Experience of managing and redesigning services and working in collaboration with staff and with people who use our services is essential.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience of working with a range of diverse stakeholders and possess the management, leadership and associated interpersonal skills required to operate effectively in complex and politically sensitive environments.

We are looking for leaders who will be focused on achievement, quality and excellence. Skilled at nurturing an outcome focussed, service user and people based culture, you will have the energy and passion to build relationships and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

You will also have extensive experience in organisational development and change management.

You will have : - An education to master's level in a relevant management or public health field. a track record working in partnership to successfully effect change proven public service experience of working as an effective leader within a senior team and can maintain highly effective relationships with elected representatives, non-

executives, staff and service user representatives, General Practitioners, other senior managers, professional and clinical leaders across the HSCP and in partner organisations.

professional integrity, energy and credibility. proven intelligent strategic and operational thinking, management and delivery.

experience and understanding of working in a politically influenced setting
