Flomatik is seeking a skilled and adaptable Project Coordinator to work on telecommunications based national scale network expansion projects.
You’ll be reporting into the Managed Services team based in the Minworth office which is made up of our planning team, GIS team and quality assurance team and helping to co-
ordinate all aspects of our project work streams. The role is based in Flomatik Network Services Minworth office which is near Birmingham centre with excellent transport links. Main Outline Duties :

Track and coordinate all activities and tasks that form Flomatik’s project deliverables, maintaining comprehensive project documentation and ensuring the Project Document Library is kept up to date Be responsible for creation and development of suitable project trackers Carry out weekly Project Reporting in the agreed formats, pulling relevant data from multiple sources Updating of Project Management Systems and Tools at agreed frequency.
Flexible approach in dealing with amendments to planned information Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless execution of projects Arranging of site access requests, RAMS, Network Change Requests as required to meet the project schedule Updating of project plan to monitor and track progress Assist the PM in managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Report and escalate to project lead / management as needed Successfully assist in the management of the relationship with the client and all stakeholders Help establish and maintain relationships with third parties / vendors where appropriate Personal attributes (skills, aptitude and understandings) : Previous experience in a telecoms project coordination background is required for this position -
you will preferably have worked for one of the major operators (Virgin Media, BT, etc..) or one of their Service Delivery Partners or related industries.
Attention to detail and accuracy coupled with a can do’ attitude Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically intermediate or above experience of MS Excel and ideally MS Access additional Flomatik and client specific applications may be required (training can be provided where necessary) Relationship builder, great attention to detail, diligent and can see the bigger picture’ Appropriate educational background, preferably in the fields of telecoms and / or engineering Good telephone manner and experience of dealing with difficult parties, both internal and external Good geographic knowledge of UK Strong communication skills Good organisational skills and able to work logically Previous experience of scheduling resource Able to manage their own time effectively To recognise and escalate issues and seek assistance where necessary To be effective working in both a team and on own initiative Ability to work to deadlines and able to work under pressure to deliver on multiple fronts PMP / PRINCE II certification or understanding (or equivalent) preferred Awareness and understanding of current health and safety procedures for working in the UK advantageous Flomatik is a telecommunications and broadcast industry recognised and results-
