About the role :
We are looking for a Regulation Governance Executive to join the regulation team as DCC completes the implementation of its core systems and engages with government, the regulator and industry on emerging requirements.
The Data Communications Company ( DCC - Smart DCC Ltd) is a government licensed entity within Capita which is responsible for delivering the central infrastructure delivering energy smart metering in Great Britain.
DCC will deliver services in accordance with the Smart Energy Code (SEC), an industry code to which all energy suppliers and network operators must accede.
What you will do :
Work in the team which has responsibility for DCC’s compliance and relationship management with Ofgem, SECAS and BEIS
Work with the Regulatory Stakeholder Management team, assisting in the production of documentation within the DCC
Taking ownership of the process
Coordinate DCC’s engagement for key governance forums
Track issues from the forums
Provide secretariat support for internal governance groups
Assist in responding to formal and informal regulatory information requests (ad hoc)
Work with teams across DCC in resolving regulatory queries and issues (ad hoc)
Your experience will include :
Experience of working in a regulated environment (preferably energy)
Experience of working within an analytical, project or programme management environment
Degree educated or equivalent
Self-starter, able to identify appropriate solutions, meet tight-deadlines and work in a high-pressure environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Experience in an analytical or project management environment
Articulate and confident work ability
