We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Ingenuity Product Solutions team in Manchester. As a member of the Solutions team, you will be the expert on Ingenuity ecommerce platform and the Ingenuity business.
You would talk to THG’s clients to understand their needs / challenges and advise on how best to utilize THG’s capabilities to maximize value for their business.
In the process, you could also identify gaps in our existing capabilities and be the voice of the customer’ in internal roadmapping discussions.
Where relevant, you will be required to lead bespoke product developments to satisfy our clients and their customers. Moreover, as the Ingenuity platform expert, you would be enabling our Sales & Commercial teams to define product vision and positioning, such that we share relevant information with prospective business partners for THG’s Ingenuity business, helping it grow even further!
What you'll do :
Understand client problems, distinguish needs from wants, and find smart innovative solutions to balance client’s needs with the Ingenuity platform’s strengths and constraints
Work closely with UX designers, researchers, developers and data scientists to develop bespoke solutions for client’s problems where necessary
Develop a deep understanding and expertise of the Ingenuity ecommerce platform. You should be the go-to person for any tech questions from internal or external stakeholders.
Improve and streamline processes to onboard new clients
Upskill the Sales / BD / Commercial teams on product capabilities and new developments. Provide direct support on key strategic accounts.
Define product vision and the evolving product positioning, as the platform expands, to enable Sales / BD teams to present THG capabilities to prospective business partners.

Desired experience :
5+ years of product management experience, ideally with e-commerce platforms and in a client-facing role
Experience working with clients, preferably across industries
Experience working in cross-functional teams (designers / engineers / data scientists / sales / marketing)
Preferred experience of leading teams
Balance of technical + business’ knowledge. You should be able to translate technical language into business language and vice-versa.
