Business Unit Description.

We currently have an opportunity for an Electrical Intern within our Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) Group based in Manchester or Glasgow.

The EC&I Group is part of our Energy, Chemicals & Resources (ECR) business.

The ECR business of Jacobs covers a wide range sectors for which we require chemical engineers this includes Refining, Gas Processing and Storage, Bulk and Fine Chemicals manufacture, Mining & Minerals, Pharmaceuticals and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods.

Role Outline / Responsibilities

Primary Job Responsibilities :

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good oral, written and presentation skills
  • Capable of working in teams and alone
  • Able to problem solve and make decisions
  • Focus on results and project delivery
  • Work within our project teams to produce defined discipline deliverables
  • You will be assigned specific responsibilities when you start, and a mentor will be identified to help you with your development.
  • Training will be given in all aspects of your assigned job responsibilities
