Location :

Bedford Hospital is situated in a beautiful part of the UK in the county of Bedfordshire. Bedford is a riverside town with easy access to quiet unspoilt countryside as well as great connection to London (38 minutes on a train) and other main cities.

Bedford offers affordable properties and great range of bars and restaurants. Every two years, an event called the Bedford River Festival is held near the river in Bedford during early July which is a second largest free outdoor event in the UK after the Notting Hill Carnival.

The event lasts for two days and regularly attracts over 300,000 visitors. The Bedford Corn Exchange is the largest entertainment venue in the town and plays host to a variety of performances, meetings, conferences, concerts and private functions.

There is a long-standing sporting heritage in Bedford Borough with long established rugby and football clubs. Rowing is also a major part of the sports scenewith a number of regatta events hosted throughout the year from February to October.

Other annual events include Bedford International Kite Festival in June. Proms in the Park held in early August.
