The installations manager will be responsible for the day to day operational management of theField Services Team including the planning and delivery of installation / commissioning to ensure allworks and projects are delivered on time, within budget and that the quality of work is maintainedat all times.
Key responsibilities for this job :
Management of small works, high volume works and projects for the Field ServicesTeam (FST) Includes but not limited to.
Technical Assessment / approval of contracts won.
Procurement of materials / plant hire etc.
Completion of job packs (RAMS, job cards & all relevant H&S requirements).
Point of contact and liaison with Customers.
Process test results / Client handover pack
Attend site / customer meetings.
Raise invoice requests.
Ensure all site specific method statements / risk assessments are fully conversantand compliant.
Ensure all work on site is carried out to Vysiion’s & customer standards as stated in contractual specifications and industry best practice by conducting regular on site audits.
Update daily / weekly reports and review against the project delivery milestones.Highlighting any risks that may have arisen to the Field Services Manager.
Technical support to the Field Services Team and other departments as required.
Continually evaluate resources, equipment, techniques, and lessons learned andprovide feedback and proposals to the Field Services Manager to improve theongoing overall efficiency of the Field Services Team.
Co ordinate, capture and present progress reports and the financial sign off forcompleted works to Field Services Manager.
Liaise with customers.
Ensuring the engineers vans and equipment are properly maintained to the higheststandard including calibrations and servicing.
Complete appraisals and reviews.
Pre sales support.
Knowledge and experience required :
Minimum 5 years’ experience of engineering delivery and managing installation teams.
Technical knowledge and experience of deployment / installation of one or more disciplinesuch as copper / fibre, CCTV, Wi Fi, Electrical installations, etc
Have excellent managerial, organisational and communication skills.
Previous experience preparing method statements and risk assessments.
Experience and working knowledge of CDM regulations.
Positive and enthusiastic approach to work with good organisational skills and the ability towork well under pressure.
Conversant with MS Word / Excel / Project / Outlook & Databases.
Advantageous but not essential
Institution of occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Managing Safely or equivalent.
