With individuals of various backgrounds, diverse skills, and international experiences, being global & inclusive is in our DNA!What you’ll do as a Product SpecialistYou will work directly with the Kpler Commercial Teams, joining meetings with potential clients, to highlight the value of Kpler’s Dry Bulk (Coal & Iron Ore) focused data and display technical how-to of Kpler’s systems.

By understanding the user's needs and by having an outstanding knowledge of the Kpler products and delivery mechanisms you will be able to explain how our solutions can bring additional value to potential users, through enriching their analysis and solving their problems.

Every day will be different for a Kplerian Product Specialist as every potential user of our data has a different goal and method of working.

Your missions will include :

Attend pre-sales meetings alongside the Kpler Commercial team, and add a high level of technical and functional depth to the demonstrations of the Kpler Dry Bulk services

Understand what the potential client requires from a data intelligence solution, and to use that understanding to highlight how Kpler can assist in solving questions and problems that arise in their workflow, trading or analysis

To maintain communication with potential clients during their evaluation phase, and to be the lead responder on technical and functional questions related to Kpler’s data and delivery during this time period.

This stage will likely involve liaising between other internal Kpler teams such as Product, Market Analysis and Developers

Develop and maintain a collection of bespoke data examples and use case studies for Kpler’s Dry Bulk Data via the various delivery mechanisms.

These use case studies will be utilised to highlight what Kpler’s data can offer potential clients and how we can enhance their analysis and decision making

Help to continuously improve the Kpler systems by supplying detailed technical feedback to the Kpler Product team and Data Operations teams from the external conversations you have with prospective clients and through your knowledge of the Dry Bulk markets.

You have 5+ years of experience within the Dry Bulks industry, whether that be Coal or Iron ore focused, in a similar or relevant role that had either / or client-facing or analytical elements to it

You are highly comfortable with data, including the basics of using a REST API and Excel and understand data’s relevance to our prospective clients.

Knowledge of a coding language such as Python is advantageous but not necessary

You have both strong active listening skills, and the ability to break down and communicate complex information to prospective clients as well as maintain feedback loops with timely follow-up communication

You are also a team player who can strive for a team goal, as you will be working directly with multiple Kpler teams, including the Commercial team and the Product team

You are methodical, analytical and good at prioritizing, the nature of this role involves dealing with multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
