What do the team do?
Business Service Management (BSM) offers O2’s business customers’ one single consolidated provider for all their IT and Communications needs.
Through BSM customers can optimise their network infrastructure and be ready for the biggest challenges and opportunities in today’s digital business.
The Technical Services team is responsible for all the technical aspects of a successful project. The team is made up of many high level experts bringing many years of experience, and we also leverage skills and resource from partner organisations when we need to, providing additional capability and capacity.
What part will you play in this?
The In-Life Network TDA will prime the ongoing technical relationship with our live customers through the life of the relationship.
The person will be assigned a small number of customers where they will maintain regular contact and build the relationship by providing design guidance, network performance information, complex issue support and lead smaller projects for the customers they are priming the relationship for.
The role will be supported by the service delivery managers and any project or delivery mangers assigned for specific activities.
They will work closely with other project-orientated TDAs within the team to manage delivery work and handover into live service new work.
The difference from the standard network TDA role is that the role will be building a long term relationship with a small number of customers rather than being project by project focused.
The role holder will need to have a detailed understanding and knowledge on all aspects of Cisco equipment with advanced troubleshooting and design skills.
The role holder must also have an understanding of multiple connectivity options including but not limited to FTTC, L2TP, ADSL, Fibre and Ethernet.
They must be focused, with a structured and disciplined approach and can work well in a team or independently. The main focus will be on WAN and LAN solutions, including wireless LAN.
The majority of our customers will be based on our O2 Gateway managed WAN product and associated services.
The TDA acts as trusted advisor and will be capable to provide consultancy services to clients to help them understand their needs and advise on suitable solutions to their requirements.
