Supporting You In Scotland support individuals with learning disabilities and autism to live as independently as they can in their own homes.
We aim to maintain and build as much independence as possible and work to fulfil the needs of our service users.
We are looking for positive, energetic, compassionate and proactive individuals to work as part of our pool of bank staff providing regular planned and shirt notice cover to our service users in their owner homes in the Cambuslang and Falkirk areas.
The ideal candidate will be positive and enthusiastic with experience and knowledge of those with autism and learning disabilities.
They will need to work consistently within specific guidelines to enable our service users to have as good a quality of life as she possibly can.
Holding an SVQ 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent or being willing to work towards this is essential. It is also a requirement to be registered with the SSSC within 6 months of starting the role.
Flexibility and he ability to work weekdays, weekends and evenings, plus do regular sleepovers is essential.
