The Java Platform Enterprise Services team are a technical engineering team building the core Java platform for use in Allstate.
The Lead Java Platform Engineer is an individual contributor with a comprehensive understanding of the J2EE specification and implementations such as WebSphere, Liberty, JBOSS, and Tomcat.
The Engineer is responsible for implementing and supporting complex J2EE environments while introducing automation of core functions.
Ideal candidates will lead the team in embracing new technologies including containerization of the platform and cloud deployments.
