Job Title : Marketing Assistant

Responsible to : Managing Director

Main Purpose of Job :

To proactively market TBC Conversions in line with marketing budgets allocated, working closely with sales team to achieve business and sales objectives.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Become the established point of contact for any media, bookings, invoicing or administrative queries;
  • Book, help organise & set up and attend offsite trade shows throughout the year in line with department rota, booking corporate units, purchasing food, set up and attend show for marketing related activities.
  • Prepare for and contribute to weekly departmental marketing meeting to review campaigns, discuss plans and share ideas.
  • Ensure all queries are managed and dealt with / completed in a timely manner;
  • Work on all TBC Conversions platforms, actively plan and implement all marketing activity;
  • Complete both internal & external Marketing Plans on a quarterly basis and communicate to relevant sales team member where appropriate;
  • Attend meetings and updates with Sales Managers / Site Directors as and when required to discuss results and objectives going forward;
  • Prepare for and contribute to weekly departmental marketing meeting to review campaigns, discuss plans and share ideas;
  • Liaise with third party agencies contracted by TBC Conversions and by manufacturers to ensure effective marketing support;
  • Work with the nominated PR agency on specific projects, booking photographers as and when required;
  • Update Office 365 and marketing plans in line with set budget;
  • Update and maintain TBC Conversions website with offers, news stories, imagery and any other relevant content on an ongoing basis where needed liaise with the Digital Marketing Executive for guidance and assistance;
  • Alongside the Digital Marketing Executive, work with Gforces on Google Paid Search Campaigns and Marketing Support, ensuring online copy is up to date and help with evaluating campaigns for allocated brands;
  • Manage and coordinate activities for any sponsorships or partnerships allocated brands are undertaking;
  • Ensure all digital campaigns have relevant Google tracking for post campaign analysis;
  • Social media monitoring, management and advertising for allocated brand specific Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat channels where applicable to include responding to and handling customer queries in a timely manner;
  • Provide Sales Managers / Site Directors with campaign results with the help / guidance of the Head of Marketing on a monthly basis to include Google Analytics data;
  • Carry out all administrative duties in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Ensure all queries are managed and dealt with / completed in a timely manner;
  • Comply with all Health and Safety legislation to ensure safety and well being of self, colleagues, customers and visitors;
  • Skills and Competencies :

  • Keep website up to date with the latest offers and news etc;
  • Work independently in a busy active environment, but with supervision and direction on non routine tasks;
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and work to a high degree of accuracy;
  • To represent the company in a friendly, professional manner at all times;
  • Awareness and Understanding of all Manufacturers brands, new models and recent improvements;
  • Awareness of consumer and marketing legislation and trade practices.
  • Previous experience in a marketing role
  • Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills;
  • Promote good departmental and inter-departmental team spirit;
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping on a daily basis;

  • PO number requests and invoices to qualify and approve marketing spend.
