Now we are looking for three commercially astute, Strategic Propositions Managers to lead the creation of our next generation of products and services across our business units.
These roles are pivotal in bringing together the professional and technical expertise of our product, marketing, innovation and delivery teams to create compelling and profitable customer propositions.
The combination of our geospatial capability and your commercial acumen and demonstrable track record in defining and deploying new and highly successful products and services will be key to realising our ambitious growth plans.
As the voice of the customer, your immersion in and deep understanding of the market will ensure OS is placed at the centre of today’s and tomorrow’s emerging markets.
Our three strategic propositions managers will work collaboratively across our business with each taking a lead in a specific market.
In these roles you will :
Provide incisive and authoritative market insight to drive effective decision making
Lead the creation and launch of differentiating propositions, products and services and contribute to the development and delivery of our overall product and service strategy and vision
Define and evaluate key customer, business and market insights and opportunities developing a coherent and prioritised proposition roadmap combining customer need, business capability and sustainable growth
Lead the development and execution of all market and service requirements, business cases, pricing and licensing strategies, customer experience and go to market plans
Collaborate across product, technical and marketing teams to take propositions to market providing clear customer and market requirements and an agreed plan for transition into ongoing product and service management
Contribute to the ongoing development of business product management processes and best practices e.g. market requirements gathering, value proposition development, product planning, proposition runway
Build influential internal and external networks to enhance market / segment expertise leading the business response to critical industry trends
Person Specification :
Highly motivated self-starter who thrives on autonomy and personal accountability combined with a problem-solving approach
Customer-focused with a commercial mindset that identifies and prioritises segments and verticals bringing together customer need, a strong business offering and significant growth potential
A proven track record in developing and utilising deep market and customer insight to commercial advantage in the development of propositions for B2B or B2G markets
An influential and credible stakeholder manager with the ability to quickly forge strong relationships at all levels whether C-Suite, peer colleagues, virtual teams or business partners
Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively across a complex business and lead virtual teams in the delivery of value proposition sets to market
Flexible, persistent and quick to learn a background in technology or data led businesses and working in an agile environment will be a distinct advantage
Strong planning and analysis skills with a proven track record in marshalling and managing the resources to deliver (people, budgets, partners)
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
About the Rewards

Salary £62,000 to £69,000
Performance related bonus
37 hour working week
25 days annual leave (30 days after five years) bank holidays and an extra 3 over Christmas
