We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients growing small animal practice in Stockport, Greater Manchester on a permanent full-time contract.

This is a great opportunity of an experienced Vet to manage a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical SA cases as part of a dedicated and supportive team of veterinary professionals.

  • Full or part-time considered : preferably40-hours if full-time
  • Hours : Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-19 : 00pm
  • Weekends : 1 : 3 Saturday 8 : 30am-17 : 00pm and Sunday 10 : 30am-16 : 00pm
  • Sole Charge : No
  • OOH : No

  • About the Practice and Team :

    This well-established SA practice provides a high-standard of animal and client care in a bright, spacious and air-conditioned surgery based in Stockport, Greater Manchester.

    It is a purpose-built practice with state of the art equipment including an operating theatre, isolation unit, biochemistry, haematology, digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.

    It is staffed by a dynamic and highly-skilled team that includes 7 Vets and 5 Nurses who deal with an interesting and varied SA case load and thoroughly enjoy what they do!

    The practice is located within a commutable distance of Manchester city centre with easy access to major motorways including the M60.

    There is also free parking available on-site.

    The Person :

    We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Vet with strong medical experience and well-established surgical skills.

    You must also be a clear and confident communicator with the ability to build relationship with clients and their animals.

    This opportunity is available on a full or part-time contract, preferably 40-hours per week if full-time, with no OOH or sole charge.

    You must however be flexible to contribute towards a 1 : 3 weekend rota to ensure that the whole team maintains a good work / life balance.

    The Package :

  • Salary £30,000-£45,000 DOE or pro-rata if part-time

  • RCVS registered and qualified
  • Possess the right to work in the United Kingdom
