Applicants should have a proven professional experience. The successful candidate will have a provenSales and Business Development track record and experience in creatingcompelling Information Management and Analytics value propositions.

The successful candidate will have good technical knowledge of analyticsincluding data science and machine learning as well as a strong understandingof data management including Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL and RDBMS technologies.

The successful candidate will be credible working at C-level and have deepIndustry expertise in Retail and CPG organisations and use cases.


  • Be the recognized EMEA expert and thought leader for Oracle Analytics & Data Innovation solutions within Retail & CPG.
  • Develop and execute the EMEA Analytics & Data Innovation go to market strategy and value propositions for your Industry Sector
  • Proactively work with Regional / Country Sales and Presales teams to discover, initiate and progress Analytics & Data Innovation projects and closely follow up on status
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into use cases for Oracle Analytics & Data Innovation solutions and to work with Oracle and Customer Enterprise Architects to create the right Information Management Architecture.
  • Coordinate and support Analytics & Data Innovation proof of concepts, test drives and pilot projects
  • Initiate, run and follow up on Business Development activities to grow the Oracle Analytics & Data Innovation business in EMEA.
  • Evangelize Oracle Analytics & Data Innovation solutions at Oracle and 3rd party events.
  • Collaborate with Partners to identify Analytics & Data Innovation leads and opportunities
  • Collaborate with other EMEA teams to lead and coordinate Analytics & Data Innovation initiatives amongst the different teams
  • Develop and deliver high quality, customized Oracle presentations and demonstrations to meet customer and partner needs for Analytics & Data Innovation related requirements
  • Demonstrate a broad understanding of Oracle products across disciplines by articulating product features, benefits and competitive advantages.
  • Assist with the co-ordination and delivery of Analytics & Data Innovation sales and pre-sales enablement for Oracle in EMEA

  • Ability to quickly establish credibility at CxO / Director level within customer organizations and to position compelling business value propositions.
  • High levels of energy and enthusiasm to help drive this rapidly growing Business
  • Very strong presentation, verbal and written skills is essential.
  • A passion for learning new technologies fast.
  • A data science / business analytics background would be a benefit
  • Fluency in English is required, additional languages are an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL, relational database and analytics technologies and how they can deliver business value for Retail & CPG Customers is an advantage.
  • Ability to lead a large virtual team.
  • Successful Candidate will be expected to travel extensively throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa as part of their role.
  • Detailed Description and Job Requirements

    Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues.

    Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle.

    A Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic accounts which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence.

    Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle Development for the product*s sales opportunities. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners.

    Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product.

    Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities.

    Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.

    Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner.

    12+ years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales or sales management. Marketing and business development experience preferred.

    Proven track record in managing multiple opportunities and ability to negotiate and close complex deals. Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results.

    Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to Travel as needed. BA / BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
