Product Owner - DAM
We’re looking for a Junior Product Owner to join the biggest transformation programme at Dixons Carphone. We want to change how our business manages and uses digital assets across all of our Currys PC World channels and need someone to drive this ambition into reality.
This is an initial 12-month contract, but we’ve got big ambitions, and this could be a great stepping stone to other positions in the business.
You Will :
Support the line manager in making sure our ambitions / objectives for digital asset management are realised through build and implementation
Be the go-to person for digital and marketing teams to ensure their needs a fulfilled by the new solution, working closely with creative services and product experience
Become the expert on OpenText DAM and the OpenText DAMlink for SAP Commerce make sure the business is aware of its capabilities and build the future roadmap for how it’ll be used across the organisation
Lead the sprint planning / review process for DAM setting priorities, detailing user stories and acceptance criteria and signing off that the solution enables us to fulfil our customer objectives
Lead the process to prepare assets for import into DAM. Working with suppliers and agencies to get hold of assets to the new asset standards.
Define & populate the metadata & usage-rights held against assets to ensure they are searchable and usable by business teams in future
Work closely product owners / managers of related systems in the transformation (e.g. CMS and Product Content Management) to ensure efficient use of digital assets through the end-to-end process
Work with 3rd party asset owners and agencies to build system integrations that enable us to work more efficiently
Liaise with change management and functional teams to detail the training / comms approach for impacted business teams (including identifying super-
users etc) sign-off that it’s fit for purpose.
You Need :
Experience in agile (scrum or Kanban)
Experience using JIRA or similar project management tools
Ability to break down epics into user stories
Great communication skills and ability to work collaboratively various teams across the transformation programme
Knowledge of digital asset / marketing asset processes
Passion about technology and latest trends
