We're looking for time served electrical and mechanical Maintenance technicians to support the team responsible for the design and development of new / current automated equipment.

You will support the installation, commissioning & launch phases of new automated systems Skills & abilities High level of personal standards and self-motivation are crucial, in addition to these, the ideal candidate will possess some or all of the following depending on Mech / Elec bias : Machining skills Welding and fabrication skills Assembly skills Ability to read mechanical drawings Strong problem solving skills Good communication skills Strong motivation to succeed and be an effective team worker Able to work unsupervised Able to demonstrate flexibility shift changes are typical on system launches PC literacy skills MS Office including Excel, Word etc Ability to understand electrical drawings & fault find on electrical systems Software programming & fault finding experience Omron or / and Siemens Robot experience prefer Fanuc Knowledge of safety systems Good technical skills Hand tools use Qualifications A recognised apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical discipline ONC, BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Maintenance or Engineering Maintenance experience gained in a manufacturing environmentSunderland Tyne and Wear United Kingdom
