What will you do day-today?

  • Lead the Business Management function on behalf of Asset Services, defining the strategic direction of the service including developing the approach to managing performance and monitoring compliance with property and land maintenance standards, leading a small number of teams to carry out monitoring and reporting activity on behalf of the Group for in excess of 55,000 properties.
  • Strategic lead for Care and Support and Managed Agent for responsive, void and planned maintenance budgets.
  • Support Group Directors, including Regional Directors in developing the future direction of the asset portfolio to ensure the delivery of Group objectives and in line with the 30 year plan.
  • Translate the vision and targets of the Group Corporate Plan into a business stream plan.
  • Monitor, review and report progress to senior stakeholders, including Directors and Board members on performance against the Asset Management Strategy.
  • Own the integrity and quality of business area data and the content of statutory, regulatory or other external reporting as required.
  • Oversee the development and management of the required IT infrastructure for Asset Management.
  • Own the Asset Management core offer and service standards, monitoring the framework.
  • Oversee the provision of a suite of accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders including regional teams.
  • Manage senior stakeholders effectively, including Directors, other senior colleagues and third parties.
  • Who are we looking for?

    We are looking to engage in individuals with a proven track record of leading a Business Management function within Asset Services, a track record of strategic policy and service development in a complex multi-

    site environment. Knowledge and experience of identifying, implementing and monitoring standards for property and land maintenance also developing quality assessment frameworks and techniques.

    Has skills to interpret business requirements using a variety of data. You must be results driven with strong analytical skills, including the ability to critically analyse complex information, and experience of providing meaningful management information, have effective presentation skills.

    Someone with experience of successful leadership, management and motivating teams at a senior level. Be results driven with strong analytical skills commercially aware, focusing on continuous improvement.

    Be confident with managing large scale budgets, a thorough understanding of risk management, customer focused and be able to work with all levels of the business.
