ABOUT THE ROLE Revolut is looking to help people across the world get more from their money. We are looking for a senior banking executive to become our Chief Banking Officer and lead all aspects of our global banking operations.
This will include responsibility for growing a world-class team globally; gaining authorisations to release innovative products in new markets;
and ultimately helping millions of customers manage their finances with a level of ease and control that they have never previously seen. WHAT YOU NEED TO ACHIEVE
Hire A players in senior leadership teams of banking subsidiaries
Secure and maintain required licence(s), strong relationships with local regulators
Develop and deliver customer growth, revenue, and cost plans
Ensure strong risk management while delivering growth WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Directly leading the efforts to recruit and manage an A-player leadership team for our global banking entities
Working with our Licensing team to successfully secure required regulatory permissions, and to operationalise these new permissions and licences
Developing our Credit business globally, and working with group Product and Growth teams to continue successful commercial development, to deliver a strong return on equity for the global banking business through excellent customer value and experience
Leading a robust risk management and compliance culture, systems and controls for the banking entities WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Strong knowledge and experience in Retail Banking, including consumer credit and card payments
Experience in building and leading teams of 100+ people
Experience in a Senior Manager Regime SMF or previous Controlled Function equivalent
Credibility and confidence to build relationships and trust with key stakeholders including Revolut’s Board Directors and regulators
The ability to lead large programmes of change, including significant use of technology, with a strong data driven approach, and entrepreneurial drive
Positive attitude : 'Can do' approach and willing to give everything a go from manual processing to larger projects
Excellent organisation skills : ability to plan and organise work so that it is efficient and effective
Minimum 2 : 1 (UK), GPA 3.5 / 4 (US), 8 / 10 in any other countryExtra credit points if you have experience in the following (not required, but preferred) :
Have previously held a CEO position within a banking entity
Banking license application experience
Media relations / public speaking government relations
Experience in well-known, selective, non-tech companies : tier-1 or tier-2 strategy consultancies; tier-1 investment banks; private equity
