Our client is looking for a strong Head Chef for their 3* Hotel which boasts 160 bedrooms, a 100 cover restaurant and banqueting facilities for up to 100.
You will be managing a kitchen brigade of 4.
I am looking for a head chef who can achieve 75% GP, someone who is computer literate. You will need to be calm mannered and lead by example.
You will be working 45 - 50 hours per week.
To act as a Head Chef and provide a high standard of food production at all times.
Supervise all kitchen staff with storage, preparation and cooking of all food items for the Hotel.
Understanding and being aware at all times of food costs and percentages and understand how daily departmental costs influence profit and loss results.
To ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and guidelines are implemented, adhered to and reviewed regularly, in respect of kitchen production, employees, machinery, equipment and hygiene.
To ensure all areas are clean and tidy after service.
To have a experience as a Head Chef.

The desire to train and mentor junior team members.
Maintaining the standards at all-times along with health and safety.
