Our client is looking for a strong Head Chef for their 3* Hotel which boasts 160 bedrooms, a 100 cover restaurant and banqueting facilities for up to 100.

You will be managing a kitchen brigade of 4.

I am looking for a head chef who can achieve 75% GP, someone who is computer literate. You will need to be calm mannered and lead by example.

You will be working 45 - 50 hours per week.

  • To act as a Head Chef and provide a high standard of food production at all times.
  • Supervise all kitchen staff with storage, preparation and cooking of all food items for the Hotel.
  • Understanding and being aware at all times of food costs and percentages and understand how daily departmental costs influence profit and loss results.
  • To ensure that all Health and Safety legislation and guidelines are implemented, adhered to and reviewed regularly, in respect of kitchen production, employees, machinery, equipment and hygiene.
  • To ensure all areas are clean and tidy after service.
  • To have a experience as a Head Chef.
  • Strong team leader.
  • The desire to train and mentor junior team members.
  • Ordering.
  • Stock Control.
  • Maintaining the standards at all-times along with health and safety.
