Our client is a stunning hotel-based restaurant situated in Cumbria, with two restaurants. They are passionate about delivering fresh quality food and would love you to be the same.
As an employer they are very progressive both with their menu development and chefs, they are constantly trying to develop their business and would love chefs at all levels to do the same and grow with them.
As a Senior Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef, passion for quality and a family mentality towards work is essential. You will be expected to assist in the development of Junior Chefs.
Maintain high standards of service and quality. Have the ability to run the kitchen in any head chefs absences or where necessary.
Have a great understanding and be able to uphold EHO standards and deliver these standards throughout the kitchen. So if you are someone who enjoys bringing fresh ideas and improvements, they will be appreciated and put into action.
Ideally you will have experience working with fresh produce delivering amazing aesthetically-pleasing dishes. Fine dining or rosette experience would be great but not essential.
However a willingness to work as part of a team and a passion for fresh food as well as a desire to progress and improve as a chef is.
As a successful candidate you will benefit from : No split shifts, a 45-hour working week, and a generous salary of between £23,000 and £25,000 DoE.
