Senior social media executive

Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced digital marketeer to help take our social media to the next level. Having become proficient in managing social media accounts, you’ll be responsible for creating original content, managing posts and responding to followers.

The successful candidate will work together with our engagement and content teams to place suitable content across Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to increase market awareness of our brands across the industry, improving engagement both internally and externally.

As an experienced social media executive, we expect you to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.

You should have excellent communication and copywriting skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

Responsibilities :

  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) to improve external and internal engagement
  • Implement social media plans aligned with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • Work with key spokespeople to build their digital presence and expertise
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Collaborate with other marketing, sales and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee any issues that may arise and work to manage each situation appropriately
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Required skills and experience :

  • Have a proven track record of growing and engaging communities in social media
  • Have a passion for the brand, ensuring brand integrity at all times
  • A strong communicator with excellent social marketing conversation skills
  • Able to work with the team on social best practices and planning
  • Confident using project management skills to deliver multiple content projects, often at the same time
  • Excellent creative copywriting skills and proven content creation ability
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Strong analytical skills including familiarity with web analytics tools and social media reporting tools
